Musings On The Road

I recently had to take a quick road trip from Laguna Beach, CA to Santa Maria, CA to take a deposition, and then drive back again–about 10 total hours on the road and two more hours in the deposition process. It was to make for a long day. But what a wonderful day, filled with gratitude, it turned out to be. Before I even got out of Orange County, I received a call from Carlisle Packard, one of the more engaging, kindred spirits I know on earth. We must have chatted from the Tustin Market Place to Interstate 5’s intersection with Interstate 10. At this point, I knew it was to be a better than average day.
