I was reminded recently of one of my favorite passages anywhere. It comes from Shakespeare’s As you Like It: “Tongues in trees, books in the running brooks, sermons in stones, and good in everything.” A week or so ago I had to roust myself out of bed at 2:30 in the morning to get on the road by 3:00am to get to my Mandatory Settlement Conference in Fresno, California by 8:30am.
